另類湯圓

  除了冬至吃到的真正湯圓,平時拜拜節日,洋奶奶必準備沙谷(大顆的)"湯圓"糖水,加班蘭葉一起煮,然後加冰糖,甜到不行的說,夫家口味重,對他們而言剛剛好,我嘛,每次舀半碗要滲半碗開水才行,不然加多多冰塊溶解後才吃。

  這另類湯圓吃吃下,竟然愛上了,以前在吉隆坡時,常拿來煮Gula Melaka,一樣清甜,尤其在大熱天,冰糖(椰糖)的清甜、班蘭葉香加沙谷口感十足,還蠻解暑的。

  今天看洋奶奶買了兩包沙谷回來,嘻嘻,除夕夜有得吃囉!過年吃的比較不同,添加超甜的白果。有意思的,湯圓嘛,甜甜圓圓的。

  不知大家是否會這樣煮另類湯圓來當糖水(甜品)吃嗎?還是只是在煮其他糖水時,才加沙谷來點綴?

haha...my godmother in kulim also like to make this kind of 沙谷湯圓...very different...nice to eat...i like it very much too...hehehe

my mum also will cook this during new year for praying. This time i also hv to look for it as need for praying too.dunno where to buy in KL.

大顆沙谷米會比較難煮透明,建議先在前一晚滾煮關火蓋谷一谷,隔天準備班蘭葉糖水,撈起沙谷放入再煮過~~我看家婆煮法是先拿沙谷浸水,然後才下鍋煮~~

你到霸市的乾糧部就可找到沙谷,現在已有青色紅色供選,呵呵,我還是suka白色^^,如你懶惰煮的話,可到賣豆腐豆芽那冷藏部找已有煮好的,不過綠綠,紅紅的顏色看了很geli^^
